GP - Galvanised Sheet

Galvanised steel is available in Sheet and Coil form in the following specifications:

  • Thickness: 0.35mm – 3mm

  • Width: 1000mm – 1500mm

  • Length: Full coil | Slit Coil | Cut to length (CTL) Sheets | Blanks

  • Grade: CQ, DQ, DDQ, EDD, IF, High Strength

  • Coating Mass: 60 - 550 GSM (total both sides)

Hot dip Galvanisation

  • Zinc Coated Steel

  • Galvanized Steel is prepared by providing a protective coating to Cold rolled steel, by submerging it in a bath of molten zinc

  • Increases corrosion resistance

  • Prevents Rusting

GalvAnnealed Steel

  • Annealing + Galvanization = GalvAnnealed

  • Better welding performance than GI

  • Better paint adhesion than GI Steel

GI Spangle

  • Look and aesthetics of GI steel.

  • High Spangle - Grainy finish (above picture)

  • Zero Spangle - Smooth Finish

  • Achieved by regulating the cool down time post hot-dip
